Surprisingly (not to mention disappointingly), if the table of contents is anything to go by then Chloë Sevigny’s brilliant style column “Ask Chloë” (or “Ask Chloe”, rather) is not featured in the newest, December 2008 issue of UK fashion mag Elle, featuring actress Kate Beckinsale on the cover. Whatever happened, we don’t know. Yet. Damn you, Elle!

More New York appearances! Yesterday, Chloë was at the Barneys NY-hosted Proenza Schouler Dinner in New York, and Women’s Wear Daily were evidently there to cover the event:
Barneys New York hosted a dinner Thursday night to celebrate Proenza Schouler’s foray into handbags (the first style to hit shelves is cleverly called PS 1).
Of course, where designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez go, a tribe of cooler-than-thou chicks follow. And so Mary-Kate Olsen, Melissa Bent, Chloë Sevigny, Vanessa Traina, Amy Greenspon and Julia Restoin Roitfeld packed into Il Buco for an Italian feast.

“Gamma Ray Redux” music video and screen caps
Holy moly! It’s here, and it’s awesome! Yesterday, the music video for Beck’s “Gamma Ray Redux” was released and is now available for viewing at e.g. StereoGum.com. According to the source, Chloë plays a “post-apocalyptic go-go dancer set loose in a Dada-ist pastiche of psychedelic imagery and characters” in the video. Check out the roughly 3,5-minute video at StereoGum — both the song and the music video are worth it!
The gallery has been updated with roughly 150 medium-res screen captures of an absolutely fabulous Chloë in the video. Personally, I particularly loved Chloë’s “go-go dancing” — just awesome. Enjoy!
